Lessons from Lou

This blog is about my journey through the brain tumor world with my dear husband, Lou. While not a journey I would wish on even my worst enemy, it is a journey that has enlightened and awakened me to what lies within us, and around us, each and every moment of each and every day. There are lessons here....lessons in this journey.....lessons from Lou....that I would like to share with you.

Picture of Lou (sick) and I at a party, circa 2005, long ago and faraway. I'm now a middle aged widow, trying to get my life back together. Mother of two young adult sons, living with two adult cats.

PS

I forgot to say this in my previous post. Thank you for your comments, those of you who do. I appreciate it. Especially some of the recent ones. I'm thinking about starting a new blog, a continuation for sure, but a slightly different focus. Don't worry, you'll be the first to know!! Thanks for reading.

I think you hit the nail on the head with this blog. I have found the second year after my dad's death worse and that is it because it no longer "in Nov. dad did this, just a few months ago dad did this" it is now "do you remember when dad did this, or dad would have liked this." It is more final, more right in your face. Thanks for sharing this piece -- it makes sense; alot of sense. Hugs coming your way.
